* A boarding pass or boarding card is a document provided by an airline during check-in, giving a passenger permission to enter the restricted area of an airport (also known as the airside portion of the airport) and to board the airplane for a particular flight. At a minimum, it identifies the passenger, the flight number, and the date and scheduled time for departure.
Boarding Pass는 수속시 손님에게 제공되는 서류의 일종이다. 손님은 탑승권을 가지고 항공기 탑승을 위한 공항의 보안구역 입장이 가능하고, 수속한 항공기를 탑승할수 있다. 탑승권에는 손님 이름, 항공편, 날짜, 출발시간등이 표기되어 있다.

탑승권에는 종이 탑승권과 모바일 탑승권이 있다. 종이 탑승권은 공항 카운터 또는 셀프체크인 기계에서 발급이 가능하고, 모바일 탑승권은 온라인 체크인을 통해 핸드폰으로 탑승권 전송이 가능하다. 탑승권은 필수 적으로 신분확인 검색대, 탑승 게이트, 항공기 도어 앞에서 확인을 받아야 한다.
